Head for the falls
Austria is awash with incredible gorges and waterfalls. You can’t fail to be amazed by the beauty and power of the Krimml Waterfalls – central Europe’s highest falls – the Lammer Gorge and Saalachtaler Naturgewalten.
Laze around at a lido
The area has three fabulous lake lidos to help you relax or have some great water-borne experiences. The lake water is of drinking quality, so if your water-skiing skills momentarily let you down, there’s now worry!

Head to the home of Mozart and Classical Music Concerts
From 18th July to 31st August 2019, you can indulge in your love of classical music with fabulous concerts in and around the city of Salzburg. The Salzburg Festival embraces great composers and authors, with opera, drama and classical concerts.
Dream castles in the sky
The 900-year-old Hohenwerfen Fortress sits high above the Salzach valley. It’s a great place for family fun with falconry shows and games in the courtyard that take you back to the Middle Ages. You might find there’s a knight in your family, just waiting to shine!

The rural life
Put on your hiking boots and stride out… you’ll find mountain huts, lush pastures and herdsmen on the Alpine slopes. One of the mountain huts could be a snack station where you can enjoy fresh bread, local cheeses and fresh buttermilk – perfect energy food for the rest of your walk.
